Mom & Me - Or Just Mom!

So many of you have asked, "I love the Mom & Me Spring Break Craft Camp projects...but can I just come without a child?" Of course! Some of you are not moms, or have babies or grown kids. We want to include everyone who wants to get their Spring Break crafting on! Just $25 per person, mom, child, anyone. The Bags Are Blowing Out!

I was at the store tonight stocking all the new arrivals like these Amy Butler Scrapbook Tool Totes. I showed our knitters these lovely totes and boy, did they fall in love! You can store just about anything in these soft fabric totes including craft supplies, garden tools, makeup, even outdoor picnic utensils. Knitter Joan even discovered that they are reversible so you can have your pockets on the inside! Choose from Faded China or Lotus Tea Box patterns. Oh, and they are on sale for $13.88 this week, while they last!

Sweet Stuff

We just received a big shipment from Creative Imaginations of both old and new scrapbooking goodies and thought we'd share the fun. First up is this new collection of sweets and treats, perfect for any celebration project!

Button, Button, We've Got New Buttons!

Our large selection of buttons by the piece is growing again with these new Flower shaped arrivals! Choose just the right shape, size, color, and amount you need for any craft, paper, knitting, or sewing project.

We also have a newly colorized cardstock wall to accomodate new colors and "flavors" of Bazzill, the favorite cardstock for all paper lovers. Immitation paper just won't do!

And one last thing....no photo yet, but wait 'til you see our amazing new Stickles and Distressed Stickles display! This glitter glue is a must-have to add texture and/or sparkle to cards, layouts, flowers, jewelry, anything! We have the glitz for any project in every color of the rainbow.

I stopped by yesterday, because I just couldn't wait to get the new Cosmo Cricket-Girl Friday paper. There are so many possibilities, for layouts. I love the vintage images and patterns. Hope you are inspired by this line, as much as me.

More Memo Ideas

Our Red Bee Design Team is a creative bunch. Here is an additional sample of our preframed memo boards featuring magnetic metal, dry erase, and cork, ready to embellish!

This 12x12 magnetic frame was designed by Candice. The paper is a lovely wood grain from Hambly, with Hambly chandelier stickers that are both popped up and made into magnets. She added a foam word that comes with the magnetic back. The library cards in the pocket are great for notes. Yes, just paper, stickers, magnets, and library cards. So easy yet elegant!

This wooden clipboard was effortlessly embellished by Scrappy Nan. She covered with paper, added Bazzill mini pom pom trim, glued on the foam word "Memo", and accented with little paper flowers.

All over the store you'll see great ideas and product in action from Jennifer, Donna, Heather, Stacey, Nan, and Candice. Bee inspired!

Mom & Me Spring Break Craft Camp

Tuesday, April 7 6pm-9pm ~or~ Tuesday, April 14 6pm-9pm

Moms & Campers! Come enjoy cocoa, s'mores, snacks, and two crafts together - this adorable purse tag book (one for each of you), plus a bracelet for mom and a beaded backpack zipper pull for kids. $25 per person. (We will have an alternate scrappy project for boys!)

Mom & Me Mother's Day Tea

Saturday, May 9 2pm-6pm

Mom will create a lovely two page scrapbook layout while your child makes a clear pail filled with notes of "10 things I love about mom." Iced tea, lemonade, and elegant snacks will make this a memorable afternoon. $18 per person.

Memos & More - Go Off the Page

We have some fun new arrivals in store. Our memo boards let you get your scrap on in a totally functional way. These framed boards come in 12"x12" up to 48" with combinations of cork, dry erase, and metal. The metal is magnetic, so simply attach a pretty scrapbook paper with a glue stick (didn't think it was that easy, did you?). Embellish some magnets with a dimensional embellishment, flower, marble, or just about anything! Candice made this cork and metal board using the Making Memories Flower Patch collection.

We even have these fun jumbo wood clothespins and wood clip boards ready to decorate.

Many of these foam words and phrases have magnetic backs already, so just pop them on your fridge or memo board for even more expressive fun!

And many of you have discovered our metal sheets in 8x12, 8x8, 12x12, and new 11x14. Glue stick some paper, punch holes in the top for a ribbon hanger with a Crop-a-dile, and voila!
