Our Red Bee Scrapbook Design Team always has terrific ways to use product. You can see their ideas at our Inspire Station, or in samples hung throughout the store. Here are a couple of fun projects with "beefore" and "after" photos from Jennifer Lee and Heather Canedy:

From the artsy Jenn: Take an acrylic box frame, punch holes with the Crop-a-Dile tool for the ribbon hanger, and scrap the inside for cute wall decor!

Gettin' Ready for the Girl Scouts

Robin and Sim were assembling and cutting today beecause we have 12 girl scouts ready to create with us tomorrow! Did you know that we regularly host birthday parties and girl scout troops of all ages? We can even host a ladies night out project. (We can bee pretty creative - just ask!) Create Your Own Cards

Candice made the most adorable cards with our new Doodlebug stickers. Why pay $3 - 5 for a boring Hallmark when you can create easy and fun handmade cards for a fraction of the price? Make a bunch and have them on hand for the moment you need to grab one. She used the new Doodlebug papers, stickers and embellishments, Bazzill cardstock, and Kaiser pearl accents. They are flat backed with adhesive and make lovely sea "bubbles"!

If I Can Scrapbook....

....so can you! Last Friday night at The Red Bee I finally took Randy's advice and sat down to scrapbook with friends. Obviously I love beeing creative (which is why I do what I do for a living!) but had so many excuses as to why I could not/would not make time for it.

Thanks to this popular "Share & Tell" album concept, I am getting back into it stress-free. The 12x12 3-ring leather binder holds two kinds of pages - full 12x12 for page layouts, and 12x12 with six 4x6 pockets. I took photos from 2008 (no pressure to start from long ago and "catch up") and slid them into the 4x6 pockets. Now, whenever the moment strikes me I can slip out a photo or two, create a 12x12 page, and add to the album. My photos are organized and I can enjoy looking at them, layout or not!

I am not a great scrapbook artist like our Red Bee Design Team. Stacey, Heather, Nan, Jennifer, and Candice keep the store looking fab with inspiring layouts to give you ideas. I just love to scrapbook. It was nice to carve out some "me" time and reconnect with friends old and new.

Come join us Wednesday nights until 10pm, Fridays until midnight, and all day Sunday to take a creative break!

Oh wow, we have just hit the motherlode of cuteness! Announcing the arrival of oodles and oodles of Doodlebug! Papers, stickers, rub-ons, boutique brads, and trims from seven different collections. We'll let the photos do the talking (and these are just a few pics!)...



I know I for one have a ton of photos to scrap from this spring - strawberry picking, swimming lessons, ice cream fun, and the park. These collections will make my entire album Doodle-icious!
